| Wörthsee
The Wörthsee lies protected in a morain
landscape marked by woods, fields and hills. It is, - after
Starnberger Lake and the Ammersee - the third largest lake of
the upper bavarian Five-lake-country "Fünfseenlandes"
and is surrounded by beautiful villas and wonderful restaurants.
A long bicycle tour through the picturesque Five-Lake-Country
is very inviting especially as the Pilsensee, Weßlinger
Lake and Ammersee are so close together. Steinebach, on the
north-east shore, is one of the most visited villages on the
Wörthsee and charms the visitor not only with it's four
beautiful bathing areas but also with it's renowned restaurants.
