Munich Tour

Fachhochschule Weihenstephan

In Weihenstephan subjects such as horticulture, agriculture, food technology and bioinformatics are studied - to name but a few. The preservation of our basic resources such as air, water and land is emphasised as a basic ideal as well as in the various courses.
Physically the college is separated into 2 areas: the Biotechnikum, the Weihenstephan department and the Triesdorf department, which was set up by Markgrafen von Ansbach.
The diocesan town of Freising also offers many other interesting sites ie. The Marien Cathedral, the diocese Museum on the Domberg (cathedral hill) and the Oberdieckgarten, which is open to anyone interested in nature and not just the students of Weihenstephan.
